Looking at the video again, you didn't add the 4tbsp of oil to the beans. At what point should that be added, or is that a mistake in the recipe?
You added white vinegar to the beans in the video, but didn't say how much and it's not in the recipe in the description. Can you share that amount, please?
I love blue crabs and I eat both. I'm from Maryland as well. I moved to NC and I get my Maryland blue crabs every chance I get

I live in Harlem NY but born and raised in Baltimore and yes this is how you make crab cakes. It's extremely hard if not impossible to find authentic Maryland crab cakes so when I want crab cakes which is all the time. I use your recipe. Thank you

Sir, this is, without a doubt, the best, most accurate recipe for a Maryland crab cake. One minor complaint though…I would use ritz cracker crumbs instead of panko. I prefer Dijon mustard but yellow is more authentic. Either way, you killed it. Thank you, & God bless.
